Warranty Policy

The following warranty policy applies only to items sold and shipped by Ergoworks (“Ergoworks Products” or “Products”). This policy does not cover products manufactured by brands other than Ergoworks.

The product warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Warranty services are provided only for products purchased through authorised Ergoworks sales channels.

Authorised channels include the official website https://www.ergoworks.com.sg and any retail stores or online platforms officially operated under an Ergoworks entity.

Products purchased through unauthorised sellers or channels are not eligible for warranty coverage, as Ergoworks is unable to verify their authenticity or original condition. As a result, warranty services will not be provided for products acquired from such sources.



Warranty Coverage

● Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship present at the time of delivery.

● Cosmetic defects must be reported within 2 calendar days from the date of delivery. Approval for such claims is subject to inspection and assessment by Ergoworks.

● Functional defects affecting the normal operation of the product, including but not limited to hydraulics, armrests, and lifting mechanisms.

● Warranty coverage is valid only for products purchased and used within Singapore. Products located outside Singapore will not be eligible for warranty service.

 



Electric Standing Desk

● Defects in the functionality of electronic components, including but not limited to the control box, lifting motors, control panel, and desk frame.

Pneumatic Standing Desk

● Defects in the functionality of mechanical components and gas spring mechanisms (if applicable).

Ergonomic Chair

● Defects in the functionality of mechanical components and hydraulic gas lift mechanisms, unless otherwise specified in the product’s warranty coverage.
Normal wear and tear are not covered.

Kids Ergonomic Study Table and Chair

● Defects in the functionality of mechanical components and hydraulic gas lift mechanisms, unless otherwise specified in the product’s warranty coverage.
Normal wear and tear are not covered.

School Bag

● Defects in the structural construction of the bag and zipper functionality within the warranty coverage period.
Normal wear and tear and lost or missing parts are not covered.



What Our Warranty Does NOT Cover

This warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from normal wear and tear, misuse, or improper handling of the product. Specific exclusions for each product category are listed below.



Electric Standing Desk

The warranty does not cover:

● Damage caused by exceeding the recommended weight capacity of the desk.
● Damage to the control box, motors, or control panel due to power surges, electrical faults, or improper power supply.
● Damage caused by improper cable management, pinched wires, or forced pulling of cables.
● Damage resulting from unauthorised modification, repair, or installation of third-party components.
● Damage caused by liquid spills, moisture exposure, or corrosion affecting electronic parts.
● Cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, or marks on the tabletop or frame after the reporting period.


Pneumatic Standing Desk

The warranty does not cover:

● Damage caused by exceeding the recommended load capacity.
● Damage to the gas spring mechanism due to misuse or excessive force.
● Cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, or stains after delivery.
● Damage caused by unauthorised modifications or repairs.


Ergonomic Chair

The warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear, including deterioration of mesh, upholstery, armrest surfaces, lumbar padding, or castor wheels.
● Changes in the tightness or smoothness of adjustment mechanisms due to regular use.
● Damage caused by standing on the chair, improper use, or overloading beyond the recommended weight capacity.
● Damage resulting from unauthorised repairs, modifications, or replacement parts not supplied by Ergoworks.
● Cosmetic damage such as scratches, stains, or material discolouration after delivery.


Kids Ergonomic Study Table and Chair

The warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear from regular use.
● Cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, stains, or markings caused during use.
● Damage caused by rough handling, misuse, or climbing or standing on the furniture.
● Damage resulting from unauthorised modifications or repairs.


School Bag

The warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear resulting from daily use.
● Damage caused by overloading the bag beyond its recommended capacity.
● Cosmetic damage such as stains, scratches, or fabric fading.
Lost or missing parts, including detachable components.
● Damage caused by improper washing or cleaning methods.


Terms of Warranty

Ergoworks reserves the right to assess the eligibility of all warranty claims and determine whether the defective component will be repaired or replaced.

Depending on the nature and severity of the issue, Ergoworks will decide whether an onsite technician visit is required. Minor issues such as tightening screws, removing packaging materials, or performing simple adjustments may be resolved by the customer without the need for onsite service.

If a replacement is required under this warranty and the defective product or material has been discontinued or is no longer available, Ergoworks reserves the right to provide a similar item of equal value. Otherwise, the same product or material will be supplied as the replacement.

This warranty covers replacement of parts only.


Onsite Service

For cases that require technician assistance, onsite service may be arranged.

A service fee of $80 + GST will apply to cover transportation and labour for onsite visits.

If replacement parts are required and are not covered under warranty, additional charges may apply.


Additional Warranty Conditions

● The warranty period begins from the date of delivery.

● This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

● The benefits provided under this warranty cannot be assigned or transferred, and no rights under these terms extend to persons other than the original purchaser.

● This warranty will be void if the product is used improperly, modified, altered, or cleaned using inappropriate methods or materials.


Extended Warranty

The extended warranty is available to customers who submit a valid and verifiable review of their purchase from Ergoworks or an authorised retailer within the domestic market.

Automatic Credit of Warranty Extension

Once a review has been submitted and verified, the extended warranty will be automatically applied to the customer's product registration. No additional action is required beyond submitting the review.

Warranty Coverage

The extended warranty provided by Ergoworks extends the original warranty period by an additional specified duration.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects, material defects, and workmanship faults under normal use conditions.

Transferability

The extended warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser listed in Ergoworks’ records.

Amendment and Termination

Ergoworks reserves the right to amend or terminate the extended warranty program at its discretion, with prior notification provided to warranty holders.

By submitting a Google review and activating the extended warranty, customers agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.


Warranty Claim Process

To submit a warranty claim, please follow the steps below:

  1. Contact our customer service team at wecare@ergoworks.com.sg
  2. Provide your order invoice number or proof of purchase
  3. Submit clear photos or videos showing the defect
  4. Provide a brief description of the issue

Our team will review the claim and advise on the appropriate solution.

Processing Time

● Up to 7 business days for in-stock replacement parts
● Up to 60 business days for indent or customised items, depending on parts availability


Important Notes

Ergoworks reserves the right to refuse any warranty claims if it determines that the claim is fraudulent, misleading, or made in bad faith.

Components replaced under this warranty may vary slightly in colour, texture, or finish due to differences in production batches and material availability.


Limitation of Liability

Ergoworks shall only be responsible for actual and direct damages proven to have resulted from the purchase of our products.

Under no circumstances shall Ergoworks’ liability exceed the amount paid by the customer for the product.

Nothing in this warranty policy excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for:

● Death or personal injury resulting from negligence
● Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
● Consumer protection rights mandated by law that cannot be excluded or limited by contract
