Terms of service
This website is operated by Ergoworks Lifestyle Pte Ltd (“Ergoworks”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By accessing this website, creating an account or purchasing products or services from us, you agree to these Terms of Service and the policies referenced in them.
These Terms apply to all website users, including visitors and customers. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
Our online store is hosted on Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform used to offer our products and services.
1. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCEPTABLE USE
You must have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. If you are under the age of majority, you may use this website or make a purchase only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
You must not:
- Use our website, products or services for an unlawful or unauthorised purpose;
- Violate any applicable law or third-party right;
- Introduce viruses, malware or other harmful code;
- Attempt to interfere with the website’s operation or security; or
- Use website content for unauthorised commercial purposes.
We may suspend or terminate access where these Terms are materially breached.
2. GENERAL CONDITIONS
We may refuse or limit service for legitimate business, security, fraud-prevention or legal reasons.
You must not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or commercially exploit any part of the website or Service without our written permission.
Headings are included for convenience and do not affect the interpretation of these Terms.
3. PRODUCTS AND AVAILABILITY
Product descriptions, specifications, measurements and images are provided as accurately as reasonably possible. Colours and finishes may appear differently depending on the customer’s screen, lighting and the natural characteristics of materials.
Products may be subject to stock availability. We may:
- Limit purchase quantities;
- Limit sales where reasonably necessary;
- Correct product information or pricing errors;
- Withdraw or discontinue products; or
- Substitute components where permitted and where this does not materially reduce the product’s function or confirmed specifications.
Customised and indent products are produced or ordered according to the customer’s confirmed specifications and may be subject to separate conditions.
4. ORDERS AND PAYMENT
Placing an order does not guarantee acceptance. An order is accepted when Ergoworks issues an order confirmation or otherwise confirms acceptance.
We may refuse or cancel an order where:
- There is an obvious pricing or product-information error;
- Payment cannot be verified;
- Fraudulent or unauthorised activity is suspected;
- A product becomes unavailable; or
- The order cannot lawfully or reasonably be fulfilled.
If we cancel an order after payment for reasons not attributable to the customer, the relevant payment will be refunded.
Customers must provide complete and accurate account, billing, contact and delivery information.
All orders must be fully paid before delivery unless Ergoworks agrees otherwise in writing. Cash on delivery is not accepted.
Customer-requested cancellations are governed by the Ergoworks Refund Policy. Applicable cancellation fees may apply.
5. DELIVERY
Delivery is available within Singapore and is governed by the Ergoworks Shipping Policy.
5.1 Delivery charges
Standard delivery is free for:
- In-store purchases of S$500 or more;
- Online purchases of small items of S$130 or more; and
- Online purchases of bulky items of S$600 or more.
For orders below these amounts:
- Small items are subject to a delivery fee of S$10 per delivery location; and
- Bulky items may be subject to an additional delivery charge.
Additional charges may apply for restricted access, special handling, non-standard delivery arrangements or locations outside the standard delivery scope. Charges will be communicated before delivery is arranged.
5.2 Delivery appointments
Delivery dates and time slots are estimates. Ergoworks will make reasonable efforts to meet the scheduled appointment, but delays may occur because of traffic, weather, building restrictions, operational issues or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
A reasonable delivery delay does not automatically entitle the customer to cancel the order or claim compensation.
5.3 Delivery attempts and re-delivery
Ergoworks will make one delivery attempt to the address stated in the order.
If delivery cannot be completed for a customer-related reason, including customer unavailability, inaccurate information, restricted access or refusal to accept the goods, a re-delivery fee of S$80 before GST per trip will apply.
Customised, indent or special-order products may not be eligible for cancellation or refund after production, ordering or dispatch has begun.
5.4 Delivery access and installation
Customers must ensure that the delivery location is safe, suitable and accessible, including:
- Adequate access through entrances, corridors, staircases and lifts;
- Sufficient space for product placement and installation;
- Suitable loading or parking arrangements where required;
- Compliance with building delivery restrictions; and
- Sufficient workspace clearance for safe installation and operation.
Ergoworks is not responsible where a product cannot fit through an access point or within the intended installation area because of inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the customer.
Additional dismantling, waiting, rescheduling, return or re-delivery services may be chargeable.
Customers should remove fragile or obstructing items before delivery. Ergoworks does not provide disposal services for existing furniture unless separately agreed.
5.5 Inspection of goods
Customers should inspect the goods upon delivery or collection.
Missing items, incorrect items and visible defects or delivery damage must be reported within 48 hours. Reports should include the invoice number, photographs and a description of the issue.
This reporting period does not remove any rights relating to a latent defect that could not reasonably have been identified during the initial inspection.
5.6 Delayed delivery, storage and uncollected goods
Where delivery or collection is delayed for reasons attributable to the customer, Ergoworks may hold fully paid goods for up to 12 months from the original purchase date.
If delivery or collection is not completed within those 12 months, Ergoworks may, after written notice, charge a storage fee of S$80 per year or part thereof. The storage fee must be paid before delivery or collection is completed.
If the goods remain undelivered or uncollected after 12 months and a final notice has been issued, Ergoworks may cancel the order and recover reasonable storage, administrative, return or disposal costs to the extent permitted by law.
Customised and indent products may not be refundable where production or procurement costs have already been incurred.
6. RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS
Returns, exchanges, refunds and order cancellations are governed by the Ergoworks Refund Policy.
Eligible in-stock products may be returned within seven calendar days from delivery or self-collection, subject to the conditions and exclusions in the Refund Policy.
Products generally must be unused, in like-new condition and returned with their original packaging, accessories, tags and proof of purchase.
Customised products, indent products, clearance or sale products, after-sales parts and specified hygiene-sensitive products are not eligible for return unless confirmed to be defective or otherwise required by law.
Shipping, collection, cancellation, open-box, restocking or condition-deduction fees may apply as stated in the Refund Policy.
7. LIMITED WARRANTY
Product warranty coverage is governed by the Ergoworks Limited Warranty Policy and the warranty period applicable to the purchased product.
The warranty:
- Applies to the original purchaser;
- Applies to purchases from authorised Ergoworks sales channels;
- Applies to products used in Singapore; and
- Covers approved replacement parts or components for confirmed manufacturing defects during the applicable warranty period.
The warranty covers approved parts only. On-site technician attendance, transportation, labour and installation are service items and are not included in the parts warranty.
For an approved warranty claim, the standard on-site service fee of S$80 before GST will be waived during the first 12 months from the purchase date shown on the original invoice.
From the 13th month onwards, an on-site service fee of S$80 before GST per visit will apply, even where the approved replacement part remains covered under warranty.
The first-year waiver applies only to on-site service required for an approved warranty claim. Non-warranty service excluded issues and non-warranty parts remain chargeable. Applicable charges will be communicated before an appointment is confirmed.
Warranty coverage does not include:
- Normal wear and tear;
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect normal operation;
- Misuse, abuse, negligence or accidental damage;
- Improper installation, relocation or maintenance;
- Unauthorised repairs, alterations or modifications;
- Damage caused by unsuitable electrical supply or environmental conditions;
- Commercial use where the product is intended for residential use; or
- Any other exclusion stated in the Limited Warranty Policy.
8. ACCURACY OF WEBSITE INFORMATION
We make reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate and current. However, minor errors or omissions may occur.
We may correct website content, product information or typographical errors. Any correction affecting an accepted order will be communicated to the customer.
Website information is provided for general reference and does not replace the specifications or benefits confirmed in an accepted order.
9. CHANGES TO PRODUCTS, SERVICES AND PRICES
Product prices, features and availability may change without notice before an order is accepted.
We may modify, suspend or discontinue any website feature, product or service. Such changes will not reduce confirmed rights or benefits applicable to an order that has already been accepted.
10. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. Ergoworks does not control and is not responsible for their content, security, availability or practices.
Transactions made directly with a third party are governed by that third party’s terms.
Orders placed through an authorised Ergoworks marketplace store may also be subject to the marketplace’s procedures.
11. USER COMMENTS AND CONTENT
If you submit a review, comment, photograph, suggestion or other content, you confirm that:
- You have the right to submit it;
- It is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
- It does not violate any law or third-party right; and
- It does not contain harmful code or unlawful material.
You grant Ergoworks a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, reproduce and display the submitted content for legitimate business and promotional purposes, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
12. PERSONAL DATA
Personal data provided through the website or during a transaction will be collected, used, disclosed and protected in accordance with the Ergoworks Privacy Policy and applicable Singapore data-protection law.

13. DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The website is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that website access will always be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.
Product warranties, remedies and service commitments are governed by the applicable product policy and Singapore law.
To the extent permitted by law, Ergoworks is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, revenue, data or business opportunity.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
14. RESPONSIBILITY FOR BREACH
A party that materially breaches these Terms is responsible for the direct and reasonably foreseeable loss caused by that breach, to the extent permitted by law.
Customers remain responsible for unlawful conduct, misuse of the website and infringement of another person’s rights.
15. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary. The remaining provisions will continue in effect.
16. TERMINATION
These Terms remain effective while you use the website or services.
You may stop using the website at any time. Ergoworks may suspend or terminate website access where there is a material breach, unlawful activity or security risk.
Termination of website access does not affect rights or obligations arising from an accepted order.
17. EVENTS BEYOND REASONABLE CONTROL
Ergoworks is not responsible for a failure or delay caused by an event beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, fire, flood, material shortages, labour disruption, industrial disputes, war, civil disturbance, government action or failure of essential transport or communication services.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify affected customers and minimise the delay.
If Ergoworks cancels an order because performance has become impossible, amounts paid for the unfulfilled portion of the order will be refunded without interest.
18. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Singapore.
The parties should first attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith communication. Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from exercising any right or remedy available under Singapore law.
